Taipei Part 3: Jiaoxi

Jiaoxi is in Yilan also, and we took the railway from yilan to jiaoxi (probably 10 mins?) after visiting the Jimmy's Garden(previous post). Jiaoxi is a popular tourist destination for its hot spring.

I have never been to a hot spring before and I was dying to go one in Jiaoxi. There are so many hot springs as you walk down the street of Jiaoxi after you arrive at the train station, I guess the services they offer should be around the same? And usually there is no time limit for the hot spring, you can stay there for as long as you want!

Jiaoxi railway station, reached!

RANDOM

Jiaoxi really looks like a place for hotsprings yeah?

We came to this public hot spring place, and it's free for the public to soak your legs in the extremeeeeely hot water. It is said to be good for blood circulation and the water is really hot!! You can try soaking your legs 3 times, 15 minutes each to improve your blood circulation(told by the locals there).

I was more interested in the fish bite therapy as I have never tried it before. It costs only SGD$4 and there is no time limit~ You can sit here the whole day and get your dead skin cells removed :P It was really itchy at first!

It was a pity that we didn't go for the body spa because we were running out of time D: Oh well.... Next time den!
