Mini Accessorize Collection by The Wallflower

As you would probably know, The Wallflower Shop has just launched a mini accessories collection and I am so excited to share some of the photos here!

I have worn this piece to death because the necklace is just drop dead gorgeous! I knew I had to get this when I first saw it hehe.

So sorriee but the only way to show a more detailed photo of my neck candy is to take a selfie :P Do you know that rose gold is the new black? The colour is so unique and because it's a mix of nude and pink, it matches most of my clothes! Thank god for accessories!



Finally had the time for some nails therapy! Went home early on one of the weekdays and I didn't want to touch any work at all. Hence, I made an unplanned trip down to my manicurist to have some rainbow colours on my nails and also to treat my broken nails. I realized that gelish is very harmful to the nails because most of my nails were breaking after doing it for a while! This explains why I haven't been doing my nails because I wanted to rest my nails for a month(not v long though?) haha.

I love my nails! Makes me happy just by looking at it heh.



Wore a very bright yellow dress on Monday and all the people that saw me on that day were asking me why I wore such a bright colour to school. oh well, I said to "combat monday blues" and I really meant it! Yellow can really lighten your mood! I read somewhere that yellow and green are colours which can really boost your mood and make you happy! Well, I should probably try it again next week ^^

The Asian Kitchen x Dainty Lace shorts

Was craving for asian food and I was choosing between Dian Xiao Er and Asian Kitchen. And because the latter requires lesser walking distance, my choice was clear :p

Dinner at 8pm is crazy because I was dying of hunger. A hungry man is an angry man, indeed. For the first time, we ordered more than usual. Went to the outlet at citylink.



Their famous roast chicken. yummehhhh.



I LOVEEEE this! Soft shell crab with salted egg yolk. This is a MUST try, esp soft shell crab lovers;)



And their crispy toufu! V appetizing and the skin crispy-ness is just right! Not too fried and oily.



Last but not least is... healthy vegetables. I am trying to eat more vege for every meal now but I was told that we should not eat vege outside because they might not be rinsing the vege thorough enough to remove the pesticide completely?
oh well.

Couldn't stop gushing over the intricate lace details when I received it!





Didn't hesitate to bring this in after looking at how the zara models are looking so good with lace shorts!

Food review: Wawawa Bistro

THANK GOD ITS THURS! :D *SHOUTS* So thankful for this long weekend to catch up on some sleep and also to mark 3 classes of essay test which my students just had this week.

Met up with my primary school friend for dinner, haven't see this girl for 2.5 months cos she was so busy with her FYP but I am glad it's over for her now because this would mean more dessert dates coming ;)

We decided on Wawawa Bistro at Bedok Reservoir Park. It was a small dining place and it was convenient because the carpark is very near to the place.



BBQ Pork ribs pizza. We thought this was quite good!



Both of us were Aglio Olio lovers but luckily we did not order 2 plates of this because it was only meh~ No strong taste of chilli and garlic.




Chocolate lava cake. We did not hesitate to order this because we are also big fan of lava cakes heh. The lava cake was awesome but the ice cream tasted like those cheap brands which we could get from ntuc. A pity though.

A good place to chill and hangout with friends because the place is rather serene but... there's a lot of flies though. The prices are quite reasonable with a variety of food ranging from burgers, asian food, pasta and pizza.

Guess I am only going back for their pizza?

Play It Asymmetric Skorts

I am not a pants-lover, neither am I a shorts-lover. All my friends know that and they will really be surprised if they see me wearing pants. Wearing shorts/pants is so troublesome, when it comes to going to the toilet (don't talk about rompers).

I begin to appreciate shorts ever since I started working because I am so sick of being in skirts and dresses all the time. Shorts help to show the sporty side of me and ever since Zara launched their skorts, I am totally sold to it!

Here's a pair of an upcoming skorts that it's going to be launched at TWF soon. SO vesatile I can mix and match with my plain top or even better, printed top!





Pair it with a necklace from TWF. It was so popular that it was sold out very quickly after the launch.



Went to Antoinette on one of the days for supper and I was surprised that their crepes tasted quite good!



Pair it with another basic top! Should have gotten it in more colours. Definitely a classic piece to keep, stay tuned :D

Ma Maison Bugis

Hi everybody~ One of the rare weekday afternoons which I can really sit down and have my private time. Other than that, I would probably be marking and doing up my lesson plans in the staffroom...

It was also one of the rare weekday nights that I travelled down to Bugis for dinner. Ever since practicum started, I hardly have the energy to head out at night. I'll just crash at home.

It was my third time at Ma Maison. I did not really enjoy myself the previous 2 times I was there because their service was really bad. And they have not prove me wrong still. Although it was a weekday with not much of a crowd, I had to wait 30 mins for my food to be served?? What was more ridiculous was that the lady who took my order, did not know what I had ordered! She asked me to wait and she would check for me, but no, she did not get back to me. We asked another lady for help and apparently, she did not get back to us too. I was so pissed that I told them I wanted to cancel my order. It was SO obvious they have forgotten about it but they gave an excuse and said the kitchen was busy.

And because they are guilty, they decided to give us a complimentary brownie.

Enough of ranting. Besides the nasty service, I thought their food was really good.



Appetizer: Scallop with salmon roe. Anything with salmon roe tastes good :P



This was on their special menu because it's seasonal. Squid ink baked rice with omelette and cream sauce. YUMS



Spaghetti Mentaiko. It was cooked with mushrooms, onions, clams, baby prawns, seaweed, and spicy cod roe. I love this!



I wouldn't eat a brownie without ice cream because it would be too dry for me. This is definitely not worth trying because I find it hard and dry. Nothing fantansic!

But, their mains are definitely worth a try! Going back again :D

Turned 24

It has been almost 1.5 months since my 24th birthday but my friends are still showering me with gifts and so much love!

The 2 pandora charms that my friends gave me! Awwww thanks Ashlyn, huiyu+weiqi! <3



2 more glass beads (cherry blossom & field of daisies )added to my collection! They told me that they knew I just broke a glass bead and I needed one to replace. So sweeeet :D

No more shopping for charms this year *self-control* heh.

Brunch with my favourite girls <3



The food is meh~ Expensive and not worth paying for. Their truffles fries was the only saving grace. Worth it a try :D







My birthday falls on my first day of practicum and I was so looking forward to school! I guess it's because I am really tired of the long journey to NIE and the never-ending theories which we have learnt for the past few months. It's just overwhelming and I needed to do something more hands-on.

I got to leave school only at 4pm and I was dead tired from all the orientation and introduction of the school rules blah blah. Went for dinner at Au Chocolate as I have been craving for their truffle fries for a long time!

TADAH~ What we ordered:) I swear their fries are so good I can eat it all day, everyday.



Their pasta was disappointing though. Ordered Aglio Olio and it was quite watery and tasteless~



Say HI to my birthday "cake". People seem to grow out of birthday cakes as they reach their late 20s, but I am definitely not ;P
