Post March hols

Back to school this week! It has been nothing but tiring. I had 2 observations this week and I really put in a lot of effort to prepare every lesson. I realized that teaching is not just going in and teaching whatever you like but we need to factor in every single detail such as planning for the use of whiteboard space. It takes hours just to prepare for a lesson which might take only < an hour. Thanks to my wonderful colleague, I still can afford to post my daily #ootds ;p TGIF :D





I have a soft spot for floral prints and I fell in love immediately upon seeing this piece ;p

Went to The Tiramisu Hero on one of the weekdays and it was pretty crowded. Tried their Aglio olio and it was pretty decent. I chose the Chocolate Lava cake because it was the safest choice.



My second lava cake for the week, oops calories after calories.



They have this cute little corner that gives the very vintage-y feel.



Their highly raved tirmaisu in a jar. I don't think this is worth $7.50 (exclusive service charge). It is nothing but plain. Oh well, I might go back to try their mains only...





My love for skorts has not grown any lesser heh. ESP when you are stuck with formal wear for 5 days a week.

Review on The Wallflower Shop's Oh My Love Shorts

If you have been following my insta, you would have seen that I have been wearing this pair of shorts to death! I hope I don't sound spoiled here, but I would usually wear most of my stuff for 1-3 times only. UNLESS its super 耐看 then I will wear it a few more times.



And I don't usually wear collared top because it makes me feel very hot and uncomfortable. But I find it so hard not to buy this pretty swallow top! And luckily it was light and comfy.

More photos of the shorts, it's super lightweight and comfy because it is made up of quality cotton. Yes, cotton! I really miss how clothes in the past were all made mostly from cotton. What happened now? And people with sensitive skin could only wear clothes made of cotton. Hence, I really do appreciate clothes that are made of cotton now :P





This will definitely be one of the few pairs of shorts I will keep!

My favourite from the latest collection is the Oh My Love shorts! I love the pastel colours so much and it is so easy to match. The best thing is it is made from cotton which is suitable for the sunny weather in SG!

Cafe: Saveur

Hello! I have been neglecting this space so much lately. I am so busy with work lately that I hardly have any personal time left D:

However, no matter how busy I am, I will reward myself with a good meal(especially during the weekend). Last weekend I decided to pay a visit to Saveur because so many of my friends have told me about this place. They recommended this cafe mainly because of its pocket friendly prices.



I have upsized the pasta because it was supposed to be an appetizer and the portion would not be enough if I did not upsize. It cost only $6.90 (exclusive tax) after you upsize! Reasonable right?





The food is pretty decent. I love their Duck confit and how it goes so well with the mash potatoes. I love their salted caramel lava cake more! I am a big fan of desserts and this lava cake really didn't disappoint me. I had many chocolate lava cakes but it was my first time having a salted caramel one. It's a bit sweet but overall I really love it!





Wore out Love Bonito's Clarisse Dress! It is so comfy and it looks nicer with no belt :) I am always in blue nowadays, even my nails are blue! I wonder if it's because I am having monday blues almost every day :(



I need to update this space more often! Back to lesson plans now!

1) Spend less $$$
This probably is the hardest to achieve because I have been spending too much lately. And I am a horrible shopaholic(all my friends know that):P Yes, so spend less save more!

2) Stay happy
Live to love, live to laugh. This has always been part of me. Spread more love around :)

2013 has been very good to me. Life has been pretty good(parents are saying that I travel too much and eating too much good food haha!) I am really thankful for all I have. At the end of the day, I want only the best of health and joy for my family and closest people.
