BKK MAY Part I

SAWADEEKA~

Yes I went to BKK(again) because it's the perfect getaway for me, all year all round :P The only minus is that I ALWAYS feel broke after going back to SG sighhh D: I need to have more self-control!

Btw, I don't go to bkk to get stocks but just only to shop for myself because shopping for myself already takes up a few luggages! For friends and people who always asked me if I always go there to get my stocks, I hardly do. Most of TWF clothes are from Taiwan and Korea and we pick the high quality ones!

Back to bkk. I went to my must-eat places for the first 2 days here- Roast Cafe and Wanton mee.

Roast has the best seafood risotto and matcha latte! Although many people are raving about their brunch, I would think that their dinner menu is even more awesome :P

And my favourite wanton mee ^^ Ate this twice during this trip :P

Was so sick of taking the usual smiling #ootd and hence this is my back shot :P

Details of the shorts and I am thankful for this comfy light weighted piece because the temp there was like 35 degrees and I was really melting under the sun??

At Platinum mall and this was taken when I was acc the guys for shopping because I wanted to take a break from shopping(at the ladies' floor) before I go bankrupt at my second day :/ Yes, I am capable of that haha.

Anyway I really think that the prices has gone up generally, for shopping in BKK. The previous time I go there(which is in March), is like 300 plus baht for a decent top but now its like 400 plus baht?? Getting more expensive and I was really surprised why prices can differ so much within these few months? Guess is because more and more singaporeans are going there frequently which makes the demand really high?? Felt that I contributed a lot to BKK's economy HAHAHA.

Pardon my ugly feet because I can see all my veins :/

Did my gelish mani and pedi at union mall for only SGD$30 plus?? SO damn cheap! Furthermore my gelish manicure was gradient plus glitter?? I think it can easily cost up to $60-70 plus in SG! WHY WHY SG everything so ex!!

I have matching nails and toe nails now *yay* I remembered how I hate the colour blue so much last time but I am like everything also blueee now lah! Esp tiffany colour, such a nice shade of colour to resist!

For those who asked, there a lot of small and big nail salons at Union mall. Head straight to level 5 once you are tired of shopping and you will see that you will be spoilt for choices! Too many nail salons and I just went to a random one with staff that seems more friendly :P They were really patient and they use OPI too!

Guys can take the chance to rest their legs too :P

Ok, that's all for now! Will be back to update more on more recent bkk trip :D

Food for thought x Criss Crop Top

Food for thought has always been my favourite place for brunch and pancakes. I haven't been visiting the cafe ever since they closed their outlet at Queen street. The one at queen street has very good ambience and the place is actually quite big, hence even if there was a queue, I don't find myself waiting very long for it!

I was searching for a cafe to go for a weekday dinner and I came across their outlet at the National Museum of Singapore. I wanted to make a reservation but the person told me that there isn't a need to on weekdays. And oh yes, the place was too quiet and I could count with my fingers the number of people that were there on a Thurs night! The place was not even 1/4 filled and I was so happy because like finally we found a cafe that was not crowded? It is ridiculous to see a queue nowadays for almost every other cafes.

I had Aglio Olio and I don't think I will ever be sick of eating it all the time ^^

Mushroom Risotto which tasted better than it looks? Probably 7/10? :P

And pancakes is a must when you come to Food For Thought! Had the berries and chocolate pancakes and it was sooooo good! I would think that they serve the best pancakes in SG. (Definitely not the over-rated strictly pancakes.)

#OOTD Wore a basic criss cross top paired with a printed skirt. Much better if I could add on an accessory to it! Perfect top to show your collarbones girls ;) An upcoming piece at TWF! And what's more to say of the material? It's made of quality cotton!

Pasta De Waraku

My family went to Pasta De Waraku last weekend for Mothers' Day dinner. I used to go to the outlet at Bugis but it has closed already D: I always love their pasta and furthermore, they really have a wide selection of pasta which I will never get sick of!

This picture sums up most of the food that we have ordered for 4.

Plus our small little dessert which is a tad too sweet for me. The matcha ice cream tasted more like milk than green tea.

All of us had a satisfying meal and my dad loved it although he was not so much of a pasta lover. Their service was also very good! Definitely coming back again! I hope they don't close their outlet at the airport anytime soon...

Simple outfit because I was so lazy to dress up and the weather in SG is getting crazingly hot.

Details of my trusted pair of lace shorts from The Wallflower Shop :) Those who have not get yours, you should get yours because it's such a versatile piece I have been re-wearing it for a few times already! The lace details are too intricate!! I kept it in both colours! heheh

Wore Aforarcade's Blake Ruch midi skirt out yesterday but yes, it looks more like a maxi skirt on me D: But I still love this skirt to bits because its so multifunctional. It can take me to work or to a beach or even to a wedding.

AND, people who say that short people shouldn't wear long skirt.... I don't see any reason why we shouldn't. Wear it with a platform or a pair of heels and it will definitely make you look taller ;)In the process of collecting more midis :P

OOTD- April

Going to sum up how I've been spending my second last week in school ^^ and HOORRAYY prac has ended!

Finally tried brunch @ Chock full of beans. Its so near my place but I always avoided the cafe because it's always crowded D:

Met Nicole on Sunday and because I wanted to go somewhere near, we settled for Chock full of beans. We were lucky to have waited for only 20 mins.

Ok, so the brunch menu offers a lot of selection. I ate the usual poached eggs with mushroom and it tasted so mehhhh~~ I love their iced matcha latte though cos the sweetness is just right!

#ootd In a comfy stripe top matched with a denim skirt. Oh how I love the colour blue nowadays :P

Wore Stella Embroidered Top from a past collection of TWF. Such a fuss free ensemble to a weekday dinner :P

My new heeeeels!! So excited to wear them out the very next day after I bought it. They are so comfy and I've been wanting to buy a pair of white heels for a very long time and this is the perfect comfy one! Yay good buyyyy happy buyy :D

TGIF outfit! Power blue on white. I so love the combi! Going to bring in this versatile top to TWF soon! Watched Spiderman 2 last week and yes I was so disappointed because.. I don't want to spoil the story :P Love Emma Stone to bits, she's just too pretty!!

OKAY BYE. Off to enjoy my weekend ^^ Waking too early, even on a weekend.
